Young Adults Ministries

We advance the name of Jesus by multiplying committed young adult disciples in our church and in our community.

BIBLE STUDY

Every Sunday after worship, we gather for light snack and coffee, preview our upcoming activities, share needs for prayer, and look at Scripture together. This touchpoint in our week keeps us connected and committed to follow Christ the rest of the week.

Discipleship Groups

We hold girls’ and guys’ discipleship groups on Sunday nights for those wanting to get more personal and practical about living for Christ. These smaller groups are perfect for discussing issues, getting accountability, and deepening our relationships in the body of Christ.

SUNDAY NIGHT SPORTS

Most of the year, we meet up after discipleship groups for some kind of easy sport— volleyball, spike-ball, or whatever we’re in the mood for. This weekly mixer usually isn’t complete without a bite to eat afterward.

PRAYER FELLOWSHIP

Every Wednesday night during the Fall and Spring, we meet up just to pray for the spread of the gospel and for the needs in our group and church congregation.

HOME GATHERINGS

Once a month, we gather for a pitch-in meal, games, testimonies, bonfires, and whatever else will strengthen our friendships in the Lord. These gatherings are also a great “first step” for those new to our group and wanting to connect.

CAMPUS CONNECT

We have begun connecting with students on our local college campuses (starting with GCU), supporting Christian students who need the community of the church and reaching out to those who need what Christ offers in the gospel.

We do fun things together. Throughout the year, we’ll plan day trips (Payson, Flagstaff, etc.) or local meet-ups (Top-Golf, Castles-and-Coasters, etc.) to strengthen our Christian relationships with shared experience.

MINISTRY TRIPS

MINISTRY TRIPS

Our young adults take their passion for Christ “on the road,” serving the cause of Christ outside of Phoenix. Most recently, we partnered with our church’s missionaries at a Bible institute and community of churches in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.

WINTER RETREAT

WINTER RETREAT

Each winter break, we take an overnight to reset and refocus spiritually for the coming year. These trips usually include an outdoor adventure and some cozy “cabin time,” but our focus is Bible study, discussion, and prayer.
