The children’s ministries of Northwest Valley Baptist Church exist for the purpose of helping parents bring up their children “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4). Each ministry exists to keep children constantly aware of the Gospel and how it relates to their lives.
Kids4Truth
This Wednesday evening kids club is a Bible-based program designed to win children to Christ, and teach children the Bible and Bible doctrine in a fresh and exciting way. Children have the opportunity to participate in fun games and earn awards through the memorization of biblical truths. This program runs from mid-August through May and serves as the backbone of our children's ministry; ages 3 years through 6th grade.
Children’s Sunday School
Sunday School is a time primarily focused upon teaching children Bible content for the purpose of increasing their overall knowledge of the Bible; ages 2 years through 6th grade.
Junior Church
This ministry is designed to teach children character principles for their daily lives as they grow in the Lord. This teaching includes a regular presentation of the gospel. Junior Church also serves as an opportunity for children to learn what actions are appropriate in a worship service setting in order to better prepare them for sitting in regular services with their families; ages 1st-6th grade. Beginner church meets as well for 4 years old through Kindergarten.
